ABOUT US
Historically and to this day mushrooms have had a transformative effect on the lives of farmers and rural communities, especially in specific remote regions with poor natural resources.
As they can be grown on cheap and readily available raw materials, or even in some cases collected in the forest, mushroom cultivation / collection is a source of income that is accessible to all. Traditionally it was also quite lucrative due to a combination of scarcity and high demand completely changing the economy of the areas specializing in mushroom supply and providing opportunities for businesspeople and farmers alike.
While this continues to be the case to a degree the spread of cultivation know-how in recent years has lowered prices and the pursuit of profit in a still largely unregulated industry has led to a situation where adulteration and inaccurate information are common.
Over the last 10+ years Johncan Mushroom has developed to be one of the major manufacturers supporting the industry. Through investment in raw material preparation and selection, continually striving to improve extraction and purification technology and quality control we aim to transparently deliver mushroom products you can rely on.
